cPanel At a Glance!

cPanel has long become a tech-name associated with Web hosting as it is a Unix based web hosting control panel that provides a graphical interface and automation tools designed to simplify the process of hosting a web site. cPanel utilizes a 3 tier structure that provides capabilities for administrators, resellers, and end-user website owners to control the various aspects of website and server administration through a standard web browser, with capabilities of offering a set of tools that allow website owners to manage website files, databases, email accounts, SSL security certifications, FTP file transfers and more. It is one of the most popular web interface dashboards because it offers ease of deployment, a variety of features and speed. find below some quick snapshot of cPanel appearance and its basic functions:


You can access the url as: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel or http://yourdomain.com:2083 cp1


After Login Here are the Tools you find that allows you to administer your file and domain hosted accordingly.

From the above image the icon File manager will help you find further tools you can view your hosting directories and get to uploading, extracting from compressed folders or conversed, deleting, moving files, renaming, setting file permission and more.

The screenshot above with the yellow highlighted icon will help you create a Database, User, then assign Privileges and enrolling user to a Database. While the Blue highlighted icon helps you to browse through your created Databases and go through their structures for getting further with it.
